Privacy notice

Vanta Coaching (vanta-coach.com) · Last updated 4 October 2026

This notice explains what we do with your personal data when you visit this website, book a call with us, talk to us about coaching, or get an email from us. If you sign up to Vanta Workspace, the app our clients use, its own notice at vantaworkspace.com/privacy covers everything inside it.

1. Who we are

Vanta Coaching is the trading name of Dylan Corrigan, a sole trader registered with the Companies Registration Office as a business name, at Swiftbanks, Saggart, Dublin 24, Ireland. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

For anything about your data, email dylan@vanta-coach.com.

2. This website

This website sets no cookies, and has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It has no forms, so it collects nothing you type.

3. What we collect, and why

When you book a call. Calendly passes us your name, your email address, your phone number and LinkedIn profile if you give them, your answers to the booking questions, and the time of your call. We use them to hold the call and to prepare for it.

Our sales records. We keep a record for each person we are talking to about coaching: the details above, notes from our calls and messages, the emails we send you and your replies, whether our emails were opened (section 4), when we should next be in touch, and where things stand. The member of our team who looks after you can see your record. Dylan can see every record.

Where it comes from. From you: when you book a call, email us, or message us on LinkedIn. Or from our own list of people who have booked a call with us before or given us their details.

If you become a client. We set up your Vanta Workspace account, which its own notice covers, and keep a record of your payment.

What we do not collect. We never ask for your card details. We do not buy lists of people, and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers, employers or recruitment agencies.

4. Our emails, and whether they were opened

Some emails we send tell us whether they were opened and whether a link in them was clicked. This applies to emails sent from our vanta-coach.com addresses through our email provider, Resend, and to emails Dylan sends from Gmail, which uses a tool called Mailtrack.

How it works. The email carries a tiny invisible image. When your email app loads it, we learn that the email was opened, and when. Links in the email go through track.vanta-coach.com first and then straight on to the page they point to, which tells us that a link was clicked, and when.

What we keep. For each email: whether and when it was first opened, how many times it was opened, and whether and when a link was clicked. Resend and Mailtrack also see the technical details that come with any request to a website, such as your IP address and the kind of device and email app you use. We do not copy those into our own records.

Why. So we know whether an email reached you, and when it makes sense to follow up: we do not want to chase you about something you have already read, or give up on an email that never arrived. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not combine it with anything else to build a profile of you.

It is a guide. Some email apps load every image automatically, so an email can show as opened when nobody read it. Others block the image, so an email you read can show as unopened.

How to stop it. Turn off automatic image loading in your email app: the email still arrives and its links still work. You can also email dylan@vanta-coach.com and we will delete the open and click records we hold about you.

Replies. When you reply to an email from our sales team, a copy of your reply is kept with your record, so whoever looks after you can see the whole conversation.

5. Our lawful bases

We only email people who have booked a call with us, given us their details, or spoken with us. If you do not want our emails, reply "stop" to any of them, or email us, and we will stop.

6. Who handles your data for us

Transfers outside the European Economic Area. Where data goes to the United States we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or the EU to US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified under it. 7. How long we keep it

We keep your record while we may still be in touch about coaching. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we keep only your email address on our do not contact list, so that nobody on our team contacts you again by mistake. You can ask us to delete your record at any time. If you pay us, we keep the payment record for as long as Irish tax law requires, currently six years.

8. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict what we do with it, or to give it to you in a format you can take elsewhere. You can object to anything we do on the basis of our legitimate interests, and you can always object to marketing, in which case we stop. Email dylan@vanta-coach.com and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

10. Changes
